Laurent Hauswirth, Founder & CEO, son of general traders, and Asset Manager for 30 years, has occupied managerial functions in several reputable banks in Switzerland and abroad. During this period, he managed the portfolios of more than 300 clients according to the investment policy of each bank, and perfected his banking knowledge by obtaining the Federal Diploma of Banking Economist. Early on, he was involved in the update of the administrative and legal documents of customers in association with the foreign authorities, in particular when he worked for Ferrier Lullin and Cie, subsidiary of UBS, as Director of Private Banking and Centralised Management in Nassau, Bahamas.

During the recent stock market crisis, more particularly in 2008, Laurent Hauswirth noticed that the holdings of customers were not sufficiently protected in spite of the dynamic strategies in Banks and in comparison to UHNI*. Therefore, he was inspired by management processes of UHNI to set up a structure allowing customers with smaller sized portfolios to benefit from a similar service, hence optimizing the performance of their investments and, above all, being able to reduce their risk exposures.
